Out The Box mixtape series is about helping entertainers out of the "Boxed" music scene in Houston by providing an added outlet like the other popular media entities that help artist. Many artist complain that most artist in the city have a crab in the bucket or box like mentality which makes it difficult for new or other established artist to properly propel in their own cities. We believe In order for Houston to be as unitfied as other cities, like Atlanta, It takes a team,  mentors,  a physical helping hand, support system and unity to create that environment.  Our goal is to help by allowing artist to submit songs to the Out of The Box Mixtape and Interivew on Plugged in Tv.  Songs are selected randomly from email submissions. We will also have packages available. Mixtapes will be placed in small business stores and availble for online streaming and downloads. ( Live Mixtapes, Datpiff, Plugged in TV Website, YouTube and at Bleu Lobster Exotic Snack Shop),  As we expand our coverages areas will grow. 

 

 As we update the site we will also provide helpful information to help new artist kick start their careers (How to set up music distribution on Spotify, TIdal and all other streaming platforms, how to copyright your songs, how to register with publishing companies like ASCAP or BMI, How to create your artist website, and more.
